Do you ever have lazy days? I cant seem to get anything done, I think hurricane Irene sucked the energy out of me! I heard the wind and rain last night, but never lost power like my mom, sister and some friends. So it wasnt terribly loud over the AC hum in my bedroom, but I did not sleep well (FYI - I really havent slept well in yrs, my babies have always gotten up in the middle of the night for potty, drinks, to nurse, ect. = me tired). Church was cancelled so I thought I would use this day to get AHEAD of my cleaning, schooling, organizing, researching, baking, reviews - the list goes on. INSTEAD I'm moving at a snails pace! I got a loaf of banana bread in the oven and the dishes done up and now I need to sit. Feeling slightly guilty for sitting on whats suppose to be my productive day, I decided I'd get a blog entry in! (feeling less guilty for sitting)
What am I going to talk about? Crock Pot Meals!! LOVE THEM! Love cooking with my crock pot!! Love getting dinner started first thing in the morning before my kids are up, love the smell of something cooking all day long, love how easy most of the recipes are!!! Talk about feeling productive!
I have a great book - Fix It And Forget It - that I use on a regular basis and just found this site HERE that has even more recipes for your crock pot! AND I love the name - Crock Pot Girls!! I'm a crock pot girl!!!!! PLUS crock pot girls has a fan page on facebook where people post even more great recipes!! You can check that out HERE!
Ok, gonna make the most of the rest of my day! I think I'll make banana muffins with the remaining batter! Yum!

  7. I hoped over from the TOS blog hop. I need to dust my crock pot off (she had a summer break) and start using her again. Thanks for a whole new list of recipes to use! I'm a new follower. I've enjoyed the posts I've read so far.
