Book Review - The Sparkle Box

The Sparkle Box - A Gift with the Power to Change Christmas!

"You are the light of the world - like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see."
- Matthew 5:14

I love all things Christmas, especially a good Christmas book to read to my children.

The Sparkle Box is a heart warming story written by Jill Hardie about a little boy named Sam.
Sam is making his Christmas list, counting down the days until his school party, but there's a special box his mom has on the mantel and he is very curious about it. Sam learns Christmas is more then just lights, trees, and gifts. He is taught a wonderful lesson about giving.
I know you'll love The Sparkle Box as much as we did and want to make  this a part of your own Christmas traditions.

Author Jill Hardie and her family began placing a gift for Jesus under their Christmas tree as a way of bringing more meaning to the holiday. The first time they opened His gift, the commercialism of the season melted away and they felt a profound joy and peace. Jill hopes that The Sparkle Box will spark a new Christmas tradition, bringing light into thousands of lives.

Beautifully illustrated by Christine Kornacki, The Sparkle Box has quickly become a favorite story in our home and will be read for years to come.

This 10 x 10, 32 page, hardcover book is targeted for ages 4 to 8, but all my children, toddlers to teens, enjoyed this story.

The Sparkle Box book comes with a fold-out sparkle box of your very own to have! What will you put inside?
