We just got back from our long beach vacation. I say long because we are blessed to have family live very close to the Delaware beaches and we visit several times a year. This weekend we got back from our week stay at a home we rent with my side of the family.
It was a very relaxing, very fun week and as I'm sure many of you can relate, it's hard to get back into our normal groove of things.
I feel like it's especially hard due to some changes going on in my life right now. I'm NOT a fan of change. I know change doesn't always equal bad, but I still have a hard time adjusting. It's all around me right now and I have to remind myself to take a deep breath, place all my concerns at God's feet and carry on.
July is a great month! I love the HOT weather we've been having and hope for lots more! I know many don't agree, so if you're going to throw something at me, let it be water balloons!
Coming home to a very hot house Saturday afternoon was a little icky, but soon enough we had the place cooled off and today everything is unpacked and we are ready for our new week to start - even if most of us still are in vacation mode.
As I wrap up my ramblings I'd like to encourage you with an awesome picture I found. It brings tears to my eyes. Do you know how much YOU are loved?
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You
are of more value than many sparrows.
I have a picture that we took down after the flood that is VERY similar to this. I want to get it back up, but I need to take it apart and see if I can wipe away a few marks. Love this picture!!!
