The Classical Historian - Medieval History Memory Game Review

We love games in our home. From my toddlers to my teens, we love all types of games and puzzles and as a homeschooling mom, I love it even more when it's an educational game!
I love to make learning fun!

The Medieval History game is two games in one!
You can play the game like the traditional memory game by matching cards - this is great for your younger children like my 4, 6, and 7 year olds. The player that finds the most matches wins.
They become familiar with important historical figures, places, and events.
The tile pieces are very sturdy with beautifully illustrated pictures on each of them, great for little hands to hold without the worry of tearing. Even the box itself is a nice heavy duty box to store the game in without fear of crushing it among our other games.

My older children would play the game differently by categories. Using a timer the first player takes four category tiles (Europe, The Far East, America, Arabia) and places them separate from each other under the correct category tile. When finished player two stops timing and writes down the time. Each tile that is wrong adds ten seconds to player one's time.
Player one and two take turns (you can have more then two players).
The player that assembles all the tiles correctly the fastest wins!

This 64 piece History game, that is filled with Geography sells for $14.95 and can be found HERE.

Check out The Classical Historian for other great products like History Go Fish games, a bundle pack that includes the game I talked about and Ancient History and American History.

The Classical Historian is inspired by the best that is offered in the Great Tradition of Western Education: honesty, virtue, patience, and logical analysis of evidence and conclusions.
