When we celebrate Christmas, we celebrate the day Jesus was born.
It's easy to get caught up in the holidays and forget the reason for the season. With all the gift buying, event planning, we can sometimes loose focus on what's important. I want my children to remember the true meaning of Christmas. I like to read to them, talk with them, and watch fun, entertaining movies. Veggie Tales Merry Larry and the True Light of Christmas is a perfect family film for this time of year - well if your kids are like mine, this is a great movie for ANY time of year!
Bob and Larry are going all out to make it the best Christmas ever at Spring Valley Mall. With music, decorations and a light show like no other, it's an all-out spectacle to outshine the competition! But a little girl with a big heart changes everything when she shows them all what Christmas is really about.
I put this movie on for my three youngest children, but seven of my kids ended up watching it with us. I guess we are all still big Veggie Tale fans.
This movie is fun, sweet, and definitely one to get you in the Christmas spirit!
With music by Owl City and featuring Toby Mac, there is no going wrong with this movie!
