2011 Gratitude Challenge ~ Day Three



DAY THREE, NOV. 3rd -

Today I am thankful for my garden. I'm still pretty new at it, but enjoyed growing my own food - with lots of help from my very dear friend, Sharon, who showed me and is still teaching me.



I was able to can and freeze several things. How awesome it is to go down into my freezer and grabbed something needed - that I grew!!

    We used to garden a tiny patch in our backyard, and then moved it to the tiny side yard, but in both places the trees overgrew and we just don't get enough sunlight. So nice to have a large garden for your family!
